These include:
- Vapes and e-cigarettes
- Toasters
- Hair dryers and other hair tools
- Kettles
- Table or desk lamps (remove the bulb and recycle separately)
- Electrical cables and chargers
How to recycle small electricals
There are several ways to recycle small electricals, depending on where you live:
- Some areas offer kerbside small electricals collections
- All Household Recycling Centres accept small electricals
- Some items (such as batteries and mobile phones) may have additional drop-off points
Residents in Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean, Gloucester or Tewkesbury may be able to recycle small electricals at the kerbside using a carrier bag. Collection details vary by district. To find out more visit your councils website.
You can also find out where your nearest drop off location and kerbside information is using our Waste Wizard tool - you will find specific recycling for batteries and mobile phones.
