What is a Master Composter?

Master Composters are trained volunteers who promote home composting within their local community.

They encourage residents to start composting, support those who already compost, and help ensure people are getting the best results from their compost bins.

Our Master Composters come from a wide range of backgrounds, but they all share one thing in common - a passion for reducing waste and helping people compost successfully.

What do Master Composters do?

Our volunteers:

  • Promote composting campaigns
  • Signpost residents to compost demonstrations and local schemes

They are often the first point of contact for anyone interested in learning more about composting at home.
