Where is it taken?
Metals is collected from the kerbside mixed with other recycling. It is taken to a materials recovery facility (MRF) in the UK where it is sorted into individual waste streams. It is then transported for recycling.

Once separated out at the MRF the metals are sent for recycling to these locations:
