The Zero Waste Challenge Week was a successful campaign focussed on the reduction of waste sent to landfill over a week, it ran from 26th January to 2nd February 2009. 1,300 residents, schools, and communities signed up for the challenge with 270 monitoring and feedback forms being sent back.
Below you will find the Zero Waste Challenge Week report of your experiences and how you all managed to reduce your waste to landfill throughout the challenge week.
The week was a big success, and overall, all those who took part managed to reduce their waste by at least 50%, and some of you even managed to reach zero waste to landfill for the week.
